  12.                        Special Note Regarding CD-ROM Installation
  13.  
  14.           The files on your CD-ROM are not compressed, so you can see the 
  15.           look of a program right from the CD-ROM by typing the program's 
  16.           .EXE name at the DOS prompt.  You will not be able to save any 
  17.           files you create in this manner, however.  To do that, you must 
  18.           install the program to a floppy or a hard drive.  It is recommended
  19.           that you install this program to a floppy disk if you wish to test 
  20.           it thoroughly.  That way, the files you create can be copied to 
  21.           your hard disk should you decide to keep it later on.

  23.           You can install Read More from your CD-ROM to a floppy disk, test 
  24.           it as thoroughly as you like, and then if you decide to keep it,  
  25.           you can install it to your hard disk by running the Install found 
  26.           on your floppy disk, just as if the floppy disk were a distribution
  27.           disk.  Install will copy over all of Read More's files and if 
  28.           you've created any data files, it will notify you and ask if you 
  29.           want those copied over as well.

  58.                             Installation from the CD-ROM
  59.  
  60.           From Read More's CD-ROM directory, type:
  61.  
  62.                                      install
  63.  
  64.           Install will ask for one or two items:
  65.                          
  66.                       1   the target drive, and
  67.                       2   the target directory (if copying to a hard disk)
  68.  
  69.           If you install Read More to a floppy disk, you will not be 
  70.           asked for a target directory.

  72.           Please remember that you cannot install to a CD-ROM.

  74.           After specifying the drive (and directory, in the event you're
  75.           installing to a hard drive), Install will ask if you need to make 
  76.           any changes.  If you need to change an entry, press <Y> or the up
  77.           arrow.

  81.           Install offers \MYREALM as the default directory.  You can change 
  82.           it to your liking of course, but it is recommended that all of My 
  83.           Little Realm's programs be put in the same directory.

  85.           If you give Install the name of a directory that already exists, it
  86.           will put Read More into that existing directory.  
  87.  
  88.           Warning:  You should only put Read More into a directory with other
  89.           My Little Realm programs.  They are made to interact properly.  If 
  90.           Read More is your first MLR program, you should put it into its own
  91.           directory.

  95.                               Printing the Documentation

  97.           To print Read More's documentation, go to the Read More directory
  98.           (MYREALM is used as an example) and direct the printout of 
  99.           READMORE.TXT to the printer using the "> PRN" option as shown 
  100.           below.  Be sure your printer is on.

  112.           To print an order form, go to your Read More directory and direct 
  113.           the printout of REGISTER.TXT to the printer using the "> PRN" 
  114.           option as shown below.  Be sure your printer is on.

  131.           keep track of your personally owned books, tapes, etc.), Public

  133.           public libraries), Records of the Realm (for tracking those
  134.           invaluable documents everyone mislays and needs on a moment's 
  135.           notice) and Savings.  Read DESCRIBE.TXT for information on all of
